For the 3 successive days, I feel like I was a successful cook.

Monday- Adobong manok & ginisang gulay ( okra, batong, kalabasa with a little bit of pork)

Tuesday - Ginisang monggo & crispy fried chicken ( this is the ready to cook stuff you can easily get from the groceries)

Wednesday - Fried SPAM , Fried Salmon with pepper and ginisang kangkong

Thursday and Friday - OFF si Inday. Laid back.

I have been discovering more and more faves here in Singapore. Actually, if I were to say—-Singapore has the best food variety, I can’t resist! Plus, it’s affordable!

Given that we like ” camote ” back home, am pretty sure my sisters would love this. It’s like a warmed sweet gabi jam. It is less stickier than our ube jam though but it is well and good in the stomach.

Our dinner was spent outside—-and yeah, am glad my daughter loved her bento!

I borrowed this photo from this site: http://www.rasamalaysia.com as I missed to take the actual photo of the food I was eating.

For me, Singapore has the best food choices.
I had Bobo Cha-cha for dessert today and an Indian Naan with veggies for lunch. This morning, I ate rotti pratta ( an Indian food) for breakfast with one of my girlfriends who ate beehon. ( pancit bihon sa atoa)

Last monday, I had schezuan veg soup noodles for dinner. Chy got the Korean saba bbq fish and Dada took the Indonesia bbq chicken.

Wonderful! We are all over Asia!

This was my dessert. Murag binignit gibutangan ug ice :-)

Ikaw? Did you enjoy your lunch?

my hair. I officially am ” Karen locks”.
Last night we went to The National Museum of Singapore to experience the Filipino food fair despite the super heavy rain.

Lechon is ” for our eyes only”

But these aren’t. So I tried puto bumbong, leche flan and liempo w/ San Mig Light. The boys had the Super Dry one. It was way cheaper in the fair than getting it from the local supermarkets here. Still, SMB is my fave beer. I had Heineken last Thurs w/ Kent and Dada and it wasn’t bad too. But that is second on my favies. Anyway, I like Netherlands too :-)

Just as I was craving for stingray bbq. And my wish was the hawker’s command. Another food feast weekend. Have to stop this, otherwise, my weight has to watch out!

We were seated across this center that offers fish cake banana shaped which really sounded odd. Why do they make cake out of fish and why would it be banana shaped- can’t it just be banana cake? whew..am bewildered!Take note: it is sliced in pieces when served, so the banana shaped is totally irrelevant. hahhaha..the answers to my questions–could be boundless as far as reasoning is concerned but no worries- i won’t write it here. i’ll entertain you with few snaps from last weekend. Gosh, it was a busy one—I need a breather next weekend.

is growing! A new comforter- Welcome to our bedroom and make ourselves comfy. We had green and I just thought of adding one. I can’t shop of this kind very often because I won’t have enough space for its storage. So, I had to make sure this is best buy and yep, indeed. Priced regulary at SGD120
(P3600), now at SGD70 or P2100, plus a set of queen-sized bed sheets and pillow cases.

We enjoyed our time together today, Chy and I went to library in the afternoon after my ironing galore. I admit, I am not good at it and dinner, yes, I was a trying hard cook. I tried the steamed pork, Hongkong style. It ended up so yummy and for dessert, my Chuck and Chy enjoyed banana with strawberry yogurt. This could be the reason why we are weighing more than usual. We just love FOOD!
