I thank my instincts for selling KepCorp 2 days back. It went down to 8.73 today. Thankfully, I sold it at 8.87 the other day.
Enough of that. What happened to me these past days?
At work - I can say , am truly blessed to have a very supportive boss. Very supportive that he wants me out at 530 when i don’t have anything to do. But i felt that i have a lot of catching up to do. By bewilderment is– why is he trusting me this way?
While writing this, I am hoping to plan a dinner with spouse tomorrow. I like Friday! . There is so much to celebrate this week!
I am, of household chores.
I find it relaxing though. You know- I go for a week marathon of brainer exercises, doing stuffs at home is a reliever at weekends. Gone are the days when I prefer to be stagnant - maybe because as one go older, we give importance to exercise and BMI ( Body Max Index). I specifically like, rearranging furniture, laundry ( it is automated here in SG, so nothing physical), cleaning the bathroom- making it white , shiny,..hehhehe..am obviously particular to that. I put anti-bacterial stuffs in my place all over, hehhehe…Don’t get me wrong, am not totally OC. It is just my stress-reliever. Am totally a different me when am home in Bohol- am so lazy.
So, here’s Sunday. Chy was outside playing w/ her SGD10- purple bike I got from a garage sale. Wonderful! This is the reason why I like the ground floor. We have a huge area she calls her playground.
Look who’s ready. My Samsonite bag is ready for the first flight.
The 12 round fight was amazing. Iba ka Manny!
And here’s my tiffany. The ever dollar pen. este- writing instrument.
Chy played with it trying to find out which one is the longest.
Lesson: Don’t put your make up kit on the bed and find ways to make her artistic. I ended up buying her a pair of zigzag scissors and colored paper to play with. I don’t care the messy floors- and am not buying a new lipstick - I might just wait the US trip, should be cheaper there.
Mascara-
All used up. I need to buy a new one. Maybelline is just fantastic - it took me one year to consume it.
Liquid Eyeliner-
Is messy. I am not used to its usage yet. I bought one from Mac. No, it is not the brand- it is the user.
Sunday-
Is mama and Chy’s day. We went out to the playground and a 30-minute play in the water. She met her bff there and how excited they were. Of course- I have my own little shopping spree- a white cap from Esprit.
Starting-
to gain. Imagine from 50kls to now 53kls. Am not so good at diet—-and Chuck is not a good resource to get influence from. He is gaining too. ! We should get rid of ” Pinakurat” …it is extremely tempting.
It suddenly rained hard last night-making SG temperature tolerable today. You only need an electric fan to make u sleep. It is beautiful. I had a wonderful nap while my daughter was very busy watching, re-watching ICE AGE 3 for the nth time. We had a late bfast, so I dont worry about our lunch just yet. It is SUNDAY- a beautiful time to rest while Chy is on her random rantings about the future.
Like—
she wants to be a ballerina teacher
she wants to marry and wants to be a wife while she is still thinking of who will be her hubby
she likes children
she wants to become a mother
she will take care of Shan when her mother gets a job
she doesn’t want to go to office
We both are lazy in bed today. She actually awaken while I was in the middle of this writing and now–she is back dozed off in bed while classic Christmas songs are playing in itunes.
I guess like me-she is tired, we went to Ethel’s party last night and she had fond mem’ries of Pipit- a male dwarf rabbit, Ethel’s pet.
I am actually undecided yet on where we go for her bday while our renewed passports are not in yet.
She takes me away to my sweet escape!
I like the breeze of a relaxed afternoon where I need not talk- just watch her smile along the sand. Where my mind could drift away to better days. No crap- no busn. language, just me for who I am and my emotions within.
With you- I know life will be alright!
And I don’t have to open emails on Sundays. Plssss……
to fall just in time for the pedestrian light to turn green and we ran fast as we could to reach the covered pavements. After taking Chy to her childcare, dada and I decided to take a short jog around the neighborhood and we realized how important exercising should be so we made a pact to do it again tomorrow. While running- we passed by elders doing their morning exercises which I really find amazing - I hope my mom and dad will spend time on exercising too. Just to keep them healthy!
Today is Friday and I decided to be freed from all the office stresses and pressures, I am working from Home and by doing so- it is like a drug rehab center for me - i have gotten away from the drug ” which btw is office stress” atleast for a day and the next 3 days to come. Weekend and a holiday on Monday- the best! I am trying to book a badminton slot for this Sunday so we could hit the shuttle cocks again.
Ferrari is inescapable in his eyes. I have so many things to write about how my long weekend was but it basically started with a lazy Friday so we sat in our bedroom for a movie marathon, the Matrix. Finally, na intindihan ko na din yung movie na yun, I realized how slow I am on movies– di ko masyado ma pick up unless I had to do some readings , review or kaya a short lecture from Chuck.
Anyways, we visited Johor Bahru Malaysia for approximately 4 hours. Stopped by at J.Co donuts for their lovely, cutesie, tiny, bite sized donuts which I really like. I will surely buy more when we get back. Here’s the tambays after the loooong walks at the immigration office.
Mga estokwa, walang mga nanay….hahhahaha, ok lang basta naay balloons.
Actually, for almost all weekends in March, we’ve been together with our very close family friend- Kent, Arlyn and bb Shan. Sobra namo kalaagan, mura mi ug walay mga atabs. Well, it takes energy! We miss Don, Osang and Jang everytime we go out together — we’ve started this bonding back in 1999 in Laguna. It was and is still as an amazing bond.
A snap from that resto that serves Portuguese Chicken that almost takes like Andok’s. yum.yum.
A paparazzi that is seemingly a stalker of the 2 kids. Here you go.
Super cutesie…
This weekend, my ebay jackpot purchase came which I really like.
It is the dress not the flowers,of course the flower are the most important - my wolverine gave to me for he knows very well am currently inlove with Yellow.
Happy Easter!
Ps. and of course after all these lakwatsa, real world. Household chores.
Chuck doing the floor cleaning ( sweeping and mopping) and my un-favorite, ironing
Finally, napanood ko na din sya. Thanks Kent for the DL.
I find myself crying in the first part of the films, maybe because it involves scene of kids living in slums, became orphan and got exploited. Whilst an Indian film, it depicts a Filipino “isang kahig, isang tuka” setting.
If the film were created the Filipino way, according to me, the stars would have been:
Game show Host - no doubt would have be Boyet de Leon
This dance is sort of our nightly anthem now. Chy and I wouldn’t sleep without watching this and this dance is getting in our nerves now- in a positive way though.
Try, watching..it might make your day. Hehehhehe..I love dancing, Chy and I share thesame passion. We could go crazy with our bodies while Dada is a satisfied audience. Hehehhe. Lyrical theme, ” bleeding love”.
We watched TV last night and it features these very expensive cowboy boots at USD6,000, I just wonder with the global crisis hitting, are those going to be sold out? Same is true with Victorinox Swiss Army watches Huh…Luxury items are too expensive and most people will be cutting those from there list, well, not the likes of Paris Hilton. heheheh
Finally, I am back to my downtime routine with Chuck and Chy where I don’t busily engage my mind to the demands of my job. Last night, we had time catching up with each other while eating ice cream. It is just so wonderful to be at relax mood with my family. We had time laughing together watching Kungfu Panda ( although Chy and I viewed it for the nth time already) I am not sure what we are watching tonight, it would be Dada’s choice. Maybe, another funny cartoon.
TIP:Set of old ofc clothes could look brand new. Try to match with your pambahay.
Here’s what i got. The flowery top is actually “uranay”. Atleast got a new flavor.
I can do my Other To Do’s like:
1. Read a book. I am currently reading “For One More Day” by Mitch Albom ( writer of Tuesdays with Morrie)-this is a story about a mother’s love.
2. I can pretend I am SINGLE again and hang out with my man. in the library just anywhere in SG to support his new hobby
4. And become a plain housemom. Walk home with Chy
Thanks for your mail. Dec 8 is a National holiday in Singapore. I will revert upon my return. Yehey…wala kame pasok. Actually, this December, we are bombarded with some idle days. We have a company shutdown to save operational costs.
So, after Dec 8, I am definitely out of office from Dec 22 to January 4. Grabee that is sooo long to be idle. I would have frequent visits in the library and Chy & I would have the grandest time! Kung alam nyo alam nyo lang how my mind is toying the idea of shopping for these free time but I am holding on to our January vacation. I will do shopping in Cebu!
Got an early call from Kent this morning to meet his family in IMM while he is on a day off. He thought Chuck is on holiday too, hahhaa…Chuck is on shifting schedule, so today, is his overtime day. Too bad. More income but missed time with us. Certain priorities to meet. And retrenchment news in Singapore overflowed. You cannot shut down reality no matter how you maintain positivity within.
Naalala ko lang how we couples can jokingly cheer up each other in the morning saying ” hoi…pag ibot na mo” nyahahhaha…Time to go, will have to meet Kent, Arlyn and Shan today. The gift of friendship always play a significant part in my life!
The second visit was a blast. Weather was perfect, entrance fee was FREE! I’ll say it in pictures.
According to Chy, the newly opened KidzWorld was the BEST for she had fun in the Water Play!
PS. You can click on photos if you wish to increase the size for your viewing convenience.
When we first came, she was too afraid to see the animals, now, she is braver— and took photo with an anaconda and a jaguar.
